1980 Triumph TR7. It was last registered in 1984. I found it in a barn under a tarp. It has been sitting for over 20 years. I started working on it and replaced the following. New Top 799.00 New heads 450.00 New Clutch 350 New tires 250.00 Various other things, but the problem that is left is that I rebuilt the carburators and I cannot get it to idle correctly. I know some of you guys are good with stromberg carbs, but I am not. I have new Weber carbs to install, but I just don't have the time.The new weber carbs are another 700.00. And I think you will have to change it to electronic fuel pump. There is no rust on the side of the car just ontop where the tarp laid and had moisture.I replaced the seats in it with gry cloth electric adjustable seats. and a good stero. So if your looking for a summer project this would be a good one. Put the new carbs on it and paint it and you would have a nice car. The only TR7 ever made in black in was the spider with grey shag carpet, TR8 steering wheel and TR8 mag wheels. Mechanically, it was just a regular TR7, but cosmetically, it was the best looking one they made. Now they are highly collectible. Fewer than 2000 were made between April and August 1980 and many were indeed sold in 1981. But they are 1980 model cars. Call me if you have questions. Todd 563-676-7560
