1969 Ford Custom 500 One Owner 53,000 Actual Miles **NO RESERVE AUCTION** Hi you are bidding on a one family owned 1969 Ford Custom 500. 53,000 actual miles! The original owner purchased it brand new. He passed 3 years ago and upon passing it was given to his grandson. Before passing away the car sat for almost 20 years in a barn. This is the real deal, 53,000 actual miles. All of the doors including the hood and trunk shut nice and tight. None of the doors sag and all of the gaps are square. All of the door jams are clean! Only one of the door jams have a small bit of surface rust. There is some minor rust at the bottom of the rear quarter panels. The trunk is very clean as well. This car has never been in any accidents. All of the chrome on the car is original and is in nice shape. Has all of its original badging including the badges that say, "351" and "Custom 500". All of the wheels are original and in nice shape to. All of the glass is clean, nothing is cracked. All of the windows roll up and down freely. The cars shows its original paint. Its not pea green or brown, its a nice red color. If you don't believe the car has 53,000 actual miles 1. drive it. 2. Look at the interior and foot pedals. The interior is in excellent original shape. There are no cracks in the dash or rips in the seats. The headliner is perfect. Everything works; high beams, low beams, windshield wipers, right and left turn signals, AM/FM radio, dome light, and tail lights. Original floor mats included. The 351 V8 runs excellent! The motor is original and numbers matching. The motor does not drop any fluids anywhere. This is a 1969, so the motor is the high performance 351 V8. The transmission shifts flawlessly. The car is incredibly solid driving down the road. The car tracks nice and straight as well. Just yesterday, while driving, we learned that the tank leaks gas and that it will need a new alternator.
