1971 Ford Maverick for sale, $2000 o.b.o. Registration and tax is up-to-date for Alabama. Inline 6cyl. Auto, It runs! Best offer accepted! The car starts right up, but definitely needs a rebuild on the carburetor (or a new one if you'd rather). The body is in great shape, considering the age, and has only a few blemishes that could be fixed with minimal effort. Repairs made since purchase: - Air filter - All new points and plugs - New distributor cap - Replaced Fuel Pump (and gasket) - Fuel Hose and entire Fuel Line - Fuel Tank, sending unit, straps - All brake shoes/drums/hardware/cylinders - Battery cables and battery - New tires ( < 50 miles on them) - All new lug nuts - Plenty of new fuses to fix the electrical I also have new floorboards that are not installed. They are actually Mustang Floorboards since they don't make them for the Maverick/Comet anymore, but from the forums I've read, they should fit with minimal cutting. I also have a transmission repair manual (Ford C4 automatic transmission) and the Chilton repair guide for the car.
