Vehicle Detail
Sorry for the "re-auction". I've gone ahead and made this a 3 day auction. I've lowered the "Buy it Now" to what I really expect for it. It's in GREAT mechanical condition. The engine, transmission, etc... run perfectly. 127K miles but this will easily go to 250K with no problems. This engine is a workhorse that pulls like you won't believe. It's my own daily driver. I just last week had United BMW in Gwinnett do over $1,500 worth of work including: New radiator, thermostat, pump, pulley, and all new belts. It has a "rebuilt" title. However, it's NEVER been in an accident. It has ALL the original body parts hood, fender, bumpers, doors, every piece is original. Some kids tried to pull an insurance scam but were outbid at the auction. The support that was"sawsalled" has been fixed and is now stronger that it was originally. The interior is in decent shape. The seats are in excellent condition, all the guages work and light up. The glovebox and a couple other small things need to be replaced. Nothing difficult. Some of the bigger things that should eventually be done (nothing immediate): It needs new convertible top. Glove box needs to be repaired or replaced It needs a new windshield. The heating/AC fan won't turn on (although the AC engages) The paint looks very nice but someone told me there is "tiger striping" on the hood from repainting. I NEVER NOTICED IT till it was pointed out to me. It's difficult to see unless you are really looking for it. This doesn't HAVE to be fixed but if you are really anal you'll want it fixed. A gentleman that just looked at it (and knows these cars well) said it could use some new rotors. It's not something that has to be done immediately. Some other smaller cosmetic things... I love the car but I lost my job and I'm over my head in what I can do. I'm not as handy as I thought I could be. This beautiful, soon to be classic, car would be perfect for someone that can fix things on their own but still needs a daily driver. :) I'm an open and honest person that would NEVER misrepresent the car in any way. If anything I'm being a bit over the top in describing the condition. Again....It runs perfectly. Feel free to contact me if you would like to take a look. I live in Alpharetta GA in the Crabapple area. If you fly into Atlanta I can pick you up at the airport with the car. You can then drive me home and then drive home yourself. :) However, if this is the case I must have a $1,000 deposit paid withing 24 hours of auction end. If you fly in and you believe I've misrepresented the car in any way (I haven't) I'll refund your money but will not pay for any travel expenses. I am not willing to ship the car unless it's paid for in full (and cleared), you pay the shipping charges, and all I have to do is have someone pick it up. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME WITH ANY "TRADE OFFERS". I need the money for mortgage payments. I'm trying to hold on to my house. Somebody will be walking away with an incredible deal here. Really. The title is in hand.
