For Sale is this 1997 Volkswagon Jetta GLS located in Springfield, VA. I got this car when I finally got a job because I needed quick transportation. I fixed a good many things on this car, and it carried me up and down I-95 daily with no problem to work. I am in a much better financial situation now and have purchased a new car. If your looking for a get around car or daily commuter car. Here you go! Here's some notes on the car: It has: Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Sunroof, Trunk Button in Car, Arm Rest in Back, and has had an alignment on 4/23 $70, Replaced one tire after alignment 4/11 $65, Tune up (replaced distrubutor, wires, spark plugs) $110 labor $138 Parts. There are receipts that will given to buyer for all repairs listed above. The clutch is starting to go I think. I would still drive it back and forth to work everyday and it has never once cut off and starts right up. I got estimates for repair/rebuild and $500 (parts and labor) can get that replaced. I would do it probably in the next 5000 miles. The back passenger window is off track but it is closed - $50. Cruise control does not work, but in a manual car who cares. The last thing left to get the car to pass inspection is to fix the brakes and it will cost about $120. I fixed everything else and the tires are damn near new all around. Take a look at all the pics and the walkaround video and you will see. It will be getting an oil change before being bought. At my cost of course. This is a great car for the cash!!! It's worth $3610 and you can have it for almost half that. Saving alone with the couple of repairs and this car is going another 200,000 miles. The emissions is current until August 2012. So you will have no issues getting this car taged and titled. It cost me $54 dollar and had hard tags for one year registration. Cash only and bill of sale will be given for agreed upon amount.
