Please READ FULLY... 1959 Rambler American DeLuxe 2-Door Sedan with Continental Kit. More photos at ... www.louraine.org/American.html and... www.louraine.org/Bubble.html This car does not have any rust on it, or in it, that is worth mentioning. The car is very clean and dependable. I have owned this car for the last eleven years and bought it from a good friend who owned the car for about 15 years before me. He bought the car from, I believe, the original owner. Comes with the original Owners Manual with the original owners handwriting in it. Included is a very nice Dealers Handout showing various 1959 Rambler American models. My family owned a two-toned green Nash like this in 1955. L6, 195.6 cid, 90 HP Flathead-6 with Automatic Transmission. Interior and carpeting are very nice, very good original headliner. Includes a decent car cover, also. Plus a few spare parts. All glass is good. No cracks or damage to windshield. Comes with Union 76 Gas antenna ball. Working original AM radio. Re-sprayed original two-tone blue colors approximately 1992. Blue and Ivory interior professionally installed in 1996. 122,150 original miles on the car. Approximately 45,000 mi. on rebuilt engine. The transmission was rebuilt about the same time as the engine but I have no paperwork on that. Transmission shifts and drives nicely. The Carburetor was rebuilt in 2009. Excellent (Wide-Whites) bias ply tires and brakes with a fully new exhaust system! Drive anywhere dependability that turns many heads and creates smiles. Nice stainless trim all around, too. This is the type of dependable car you would feel safe letting your daughter drive around a college town, or let your wife drive every day because she wants to. This little American will draw a good crowd at car shows also. This car is fun and very easy to drive. This car starts when you want it to and runs when you need it to and stops as it should when you press the brake pedal. You will like this car...for years, probably.
