UP FOR AUCTION 1966 MERCURY COMET CALIENTE CYCLONE GT CLONE CONVERTIBLE "INDY PACE CAR" I AM SELLING THIS CAR FOR A FRIEND I WAS TOLD BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER THAT THIS BEAUTIFUL CAR was purchased from the original owner in 1971!! Everything seems to work as it should, with no apparent body damage RUNS and DRIVES GREAT!! It could use a new brake master cylinder (no big expense) The motor (390 C.I.D.) sounds and runs strong The clutch and 4 speed transmission work great The original radio and correct valve covers are included The interior is original so there are a few wear spots in the vinyl. The dash is very nice. The convertible top and door panels are nice for originals. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PHOTOS The power top works great. The glass is all good. The rare optional power windows work. ALL of the gauges work.
