This Is a rare find Galaxie 500 It has only 28,260 Original miles I purchased from the Original Owners Grand son who is in his 40s . He never intended to sell it , He had it stored in a condo for many years he was selling the Condo and had no place to store it , He asked me if I would like to buy his Grand fathers car, I was shocked to see sitting there under an inch of dust and some boxes a 1966 numbers matching S Code 390 Big Block With only 28,200 original miles. The interior still looks new and is 100% original still has old registration card wrapped around the steering column . Except of course the sterio hanging under the dash which can be taken out as the factory in dash is still there I puchased it and only replaced Iteams I felt were basicly safety related Had all brakes inspected and Machined / flushed all lines / Found master cylinder leaked and replaced it with correct replacement part Radiator was power flushed and pressure tested then reinstalled with newer style (yellow )hi temp anti freeze Gas tank was replaced with the last known factory one in the U.S. (all gas lines flushed and inspected ) Custom built Holley 4bbl. Carb (Mikes Performance Carbs) Heads rebuilt as required for unleaded gas, with all new valves hardend seats triple ground and milled and replaced all the springs (Flow Tech ) Comp cam 520 lift / full roller timing set ( still have factory original iteams and they show no wear but as the car was apart I decided to give it alittle more power) Custom 2.5 inch full exhaust ( Keiths High performance exhaust ) The Wheels are also New Custom 5 Spoke 17 inch with High performance tires (others were nice to look at but too old to be safe for me ) All original Glass Still Has the fomoco Original Headlamps Just a note : I feel if you are looking for a classic car to invest in this car is set to go for 40 more years If there are any questions or pictures of an area you have any concern about please contact me
