Here’s a great opportunity to own one unbelievable well engineered Mercedes, so well engineered that this car was considered by many to be the best value in the history of high end used cars. So much so many collectors and knowledgeable car people are snatching these SL600, especially the 1996 it was the first year of the 5 speed automatic. These 1996 and newer SL600 are the most underrated performance cars ever, these V12 cars are fast real fast and they handle unbelievably well too. I guess at over $125,000 new it’s understandable why they perform so well. Its also very easy to see why collectors and or just anyone who has driven one considers these cars as an opportunity and they know you just cant get more car for the money. At this point they are becoming widely recognized as a unbelievable value that’s now begun to increase in value. This SL600 is one unbelievable opportunity. Just make an offer, you can own this for thousands less than any other one on ebay right now, This car has a Accident Free Auto Check report and is rust free. The Ruby Red Metallic Paint Shins like day one and it has very few flaws, all I could find on the outside a very small ding on the trunk lid and the grill emblem is broken in a couple of places, you can see both in the up close photos I have taken. Outside of that I think this car has a really straight body and is in above average condition for its age. Inside the car is in great condition, I love two tone tan/camel seats, as you can see its rip and tear free seats are in great shape and are very comfortable too. Everything seems to work well and this truly is a nice car. Here’s where your saving the soft top is in good condition but the stitching around the rear windows is coming undone and there are three warning lights on, sometimes they are intermittent, meaning they are not always on but they need to be mentioned because this cars being sold this way. One is a light in the shape of a shock absorber, this is a suspension light, don’t know why its on the car rides fine. Next is the SRS light I am told this is common and could be a number of things (whatever that means) and the last one is the roll bar light, this one if you put it up and down a couple of times it seems to go out, I don’t know why but then it always seems to come back on, I don’t know maybe it’s a sensor. Not sure why but there it is, none of this affects the driving, it still performs incredibly well and is a blast to drive. The car only has 88,000miles and had just got a safety and emittions inspection sticker. This car belongs to a good friend of mine and he does not have the time or the money to deal with these issues right now. So bottom line his loss your gain. Make an Offer Because hes going to let it go cheap. I have described these issues the best I can but if you have any other questions or would like to check the car out for yourself or bring it to be checked out by a mechanic, please note do whatever makes you feel the most comfortable with the car. Having said that you should look at this as an opportunity to own a car like this SL600 for far, far less than you would normally aspect to pay. Don’t miss this opportunity, I would consider any money invested in one of these SL 600 to be money well spent, they are on the rise, invest now while they are still priced low.
