Beautiful 1978 Lincoln Towncar, White on white on white with a sweet running 460 motor with only 87000 miles, Car has fresh White clearcoat paint about a year old, Brand new dual exhaust system including two new Catylitic Converters. This is the part that I tell you whats wrong with the car and the only thing I can think of is the radio and the clock doesnt work, I just took this car on a 600 mile run and averaged 11.5 mpg at 70 mph with the cruise and air conditioner running. This is the part where I tell you whats wrong with the car, Besides the average wear and tear a 33 year old car might have and the only thing that I can think of is wrong is the clock and radio dont work, Iam going to try and add some pics of the before and after of the Lincolns motor, The things that have been done to the motor are I replaced the fuel pump and filters, Did a tune up on her with all Ford and Motorcraft parts, Even the spark plugs are the same kind it had in it when it rolled out. It has Chrome valve covers and a chrome breather and if you wish to bring it back to stock these parts that were exchanged are in a box in the trunk. I just took this car on a 600 mile run and averaged 11.5 miles to the gallon with the air and cruise on and a few significant hills along the way and when I did make my stops I was not bone weary from the drive. Folks this is a sweet sweet car, It breaks my heart to part with it but the economy is forcing my hand, No dissapointments here, She turns heads and gets fingers pointed at her where ever she gos.
