Beautifully restored 1985 CJ-7 up for sale. Nicely done! I'm letting this Jeep go for way less than it's actual value. NO TRADES!!! PLEASE DO NOT E-MAIL ME ABOUT DOING A TRADE! Thanks) Story goes, this jeep was a total frame up restoration project that I poured a lot of money into with no expense spared on this Jeep. Many parts used were from the Quadratec Jeep catalog. I completed this Jeep in spring 2008 and it was started in winter 2006. I have most of the receipts for everything bought and done on this Jeep. It has approx. 5800 miles since restoration on the truck. I've got over $26,000 into this Jeep. * To start, Jeep has a brand new tub, tailgate, and window frame/glass new as well. * Stripped the chassis/frame to bare metal, rustproofed and applied Por-15 and top coated with a heavy duty Herculiner. * New Chevy Deluxe Crate Motor, V-8, 350/330HP. Purchased new from Summit Racing @ $3,600. * New aluminum radiator with built-in trans. cooler and electric fan, plus all the related engine parts are brand new on this jeep, i.e., power steering pump, alternator, etc. * Custom paint job cost $4800. Color is Hot Hues Red Scarlet Fever. There is one rust bubble that popped up last year on hood, as shown in photo. *** This Jeep has never seen snow or salt! Only used in the summer months, otherwise it’s stored when not in use. * There is some more stuff not listed here but know that almost every part on this jeep is new.
