Vehicle Detail

I have owned this car for over 10 years. I have amassed nine cars now, so I have decided to let someone else enjoy this one. It is very fun to drive. It handles great. I have entered it in a few auto shows, and always received lots of compliments. I have kept it in the garage 90% of the time. I have done lots of restoration over the last several years. I replaced the seat covers and the carpet, the dash cover, the seat belts, the muffler (with the expensive one made in Finland), a door handle, and various other more minor things. It runs great. All of the exterior lights and all of the interior gauges including the clock still work, which is rare. I had it painted professionally a few years ago, but there is a little crack in the paint on the front bumper which is pictured. There is a small chip in the front windshield which was present when I bought it and has not changed in 10 years (also pictured). The engine runs smoothly. It does leak a little oil, but then again most of these oil cooled Porsches do. Sometimes it makes a little smoke from the engine compartment but only temporarily and only if you haven't driven it in a while, which is due to some drips of oil burning off on the hot parts of the motor. But those are the only negative things about the car I can think of, and they are all minor to me. The radio is an older Blaupunkt, but to tell you the truth I never use it. There is plenty of summer left to drive with the top off, and this sale will include both the hard and soft tops (pictured). I took the sun visors off because I am 6' 5", but they are included if you want to reinstall them. I have the owners manual, jack handle, 2 sets of keys on Porsche key fobs, and will throw in the pictured hard bound book on Porsches. I just replaced the batteries with brand new Porsche batteries on 5/11/11 (the old ones didn't make it through the winter because I wasn't driving it much). I hate bidding on auctions with a reserve, so I am making this a no reserve auction for you. I set a buy it now price that is well below those seen on Autotrader Classic and well below Edmonds' valuation. This kind of car will not lose value if you maintain it like I have. I expect the winner to pay in full within 1 week. I will assist you with taking delivery of this car as best I can. If you want it shipped you will need to make those arrangements and pay for that yourself. If you have questions, feel free to ask. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU ARE NOT A SERIOUS BUYER. THANK YOU.
