Vehicle Detail

Well, had a "person" hit the buy it now, with a zero next to his user ID, and then he started in with the emails, calling it a scout and asking if it was an automotic...on and on. So, I have relisted it, and in order to end the auction and buy it now, you must have a paypal act and put a deposit when you do it... I thought it was set up this way before... As hard as I tried to explain it last time, I failed... if you dont have the money, DONT BUY IT. I have two videos I will try to upload on to youtube and post the address here later. HERE IS ONE VIDEO....the other one is not working-- copy and paste this into youtube or just go to youtube and enter 1973 international travelall boise idaho http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66J5a5-3XB8 This Travelall is my Dads, another one he bought a few years ago, and simply does not use. It is licensed and registered in Washington. It was driven here with no mechanical issues at all two weeks ago by a friend of mine. He hit a deer near LaGrande Oregon. It dented the hubcap and pushed in the fender slightly behind the tire. The fender has no rust, and the dent could be very easily fixed. Its not a rotten fender and totaled...just needs to be pulled out. The man my Dad bought it from had put a lot of money into the interior. Carpet (well done) seats, headliner and door panels. A nice job, but the seats sit rather high, and it could use a better detailing than my quick wipe down. The rubber around the doors is nice, and he did a nice job, not a rattle can job, at painting the door jams silver to match the seats and carpet etc. The headliner is felt and the dash is not cracked. The steering wheel should be thrown in the garbage, it belongs in a 78 LT Camaro that someone is trying to make out to be an SS or something... its just odd in the truck.....its not a muscle car. The lights and blinkers work, the heater works, wipers...no radio. It RUNS LIKE A TOP... REALLY STRONG, NO TICKS, NO KNOCKS, NO SMOKE AT ANY TIME...NONE. IT HAS A BEEFY SOUND, GREAT EXHAUST....NO LEAKING PIPES, OR MANIFOLD LEAKS... The transmission shifts just as it should, no slipping. It does leak oil, not sure where from, but its likely the valve cover gaskets, its closer to the front of the engine where it leaves spots. Its not a sludge caked motor...it starts right up, the carb is great, and i would drive it anywhere. The front tank was filled to the top and doesnt work, just the rear tank and the gauge is not accurate. I cant get the back window to go down, but it worked before my friend left Seattle two weeks ago, and all I did was tap the fuses...still didnt work. The tires are Michelins LTX's and close to new. Great shape, not old cracked half used tires.. again, near new. The front bumper has some minor rust, but its not rotten... The top has some rust spots where the roof rack rails are, and needs to be fixed. The body is one of the best I have seen, strait, no dents other than the fender as I mentioned. The rear quarter panels are amazing, and there is simply such a minor amount of rust that most would say it has none... The truck is solid. It has a 74 or 75 grill, which I like better but its not a perfect fit where the hood meets, most people wouldnt notice. It has great brakes, and no front end noises. It does pull slightly, but if the buy it now is used, i will have it aligned prior to pick up. Please ask questions, this truck is here to sell on this auction, you wont see it for three months with the price slowly dropping until someone pays top dollar. IT WILL SELL ON THIS AUCTION. I am interested in a smooth transaction, so here are some details. I will drive it to the airport or meet you there with it. I dont want to hear from your wife after you buy it asking if we can wait till your Christmas bonus comes, and i dont want you to show up at my house, and restore it and use my shower when you are done... that gets weird :) Please pay for it within a week, dont buy it now, and figure out how to pay for it later, or ponder if you really want it after you buy it. You can drive it as it is, or give it a paint job and its pretty much done otherwise. No motor or transmission work, no exhaust issues, brakes etc. Just a paint job if you want, a stereo and its done. It is decent looking as it is, but perhaps a silver or black paint job to match the interior would be nice. I will deliver to Oregon or Washington for a reasonable price. Watch closely, the buy it now may be lowered if I get impatient, which is likely. The last three auctions I have had, people emailed asking what happened..... just want to be up front. Thanks David Thanks for reading, I hope I covered it all.On May-31-11 at 19:14:10 PDT, seller added the following information: At this time, i will not "have it aligned" at any price. Thanks David
