This has been my daily driver for the last year. It has a 1995 2.6 multipoint fuel injected motor which makes it efficient as well as reliable. It has a 5 speed manual transmission (overdrive) with a new hydraulic clutch combined with a limited slip rear differential (posi) with 411 gears running a 31inch tire, this combination allows you to travel 60mph at just under 2000rpm. The car has both front and rear power disk brakes as well as power rack and pinion steering. The rear suspension is using the original 1919 Buick half elliptical springs combined with a three link set up and modern shocks, the front is independent suspension. All that being said this car is very pleasant and easy to drive, you can let go of the steering wheel at 60mph and it tracks strait and there is no play in steering at all. It corners well and although the four cylinder motor is not a race motor the car is fun to drive and relativity zippy. The roadster had a trunk at one time but it would be my guess it was replaced with a late1800s horse and carriage bed (buck board) in the 1930s but I don’t know. The box on the passenger running board I think is a strong box an old type of safe but again I don’t know. The seat has a cover that is made of military canvas that is able to withstand the elements, the actual seat is quilted. Above all this car is loved, everywhere I go it brings smiles and thumbs up from toddlers to retirees, I don’t know what it is about this car but it makes people happy. I am trying to buy a house and do not have the whole down payment and that is the reason for the sale but it truly has been a hard decision to part with my toy.
