You are bidding on a 1988 FJ62 Toyota Landcruiser. I must sell it due to our baby to be born in June. This vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition with all proper maintenance, oil changes etc. over the years with actual mileage of 156,023 and original engine straight in-line 6. The 4 wheel drive and engine are in great condition with many more miles to go. Little to no rust and original parts- never been jacked-up or junked-up. No off-roading or mud-slinging. I’m the second owner – bought it from a doctor in Oxford, NC (67K miles) in 1996 who babied it as a second vehicle. The interior is original. The back seat and bed are in phenomenal condition. The driver’s seat has a slight tear (norm for those), the passenger seat has a small stain and there is a small tear in the dash board. Radio is new, but I still have the original if you wish to reinstall it. The exterior needs some minor cosmetic work – dent in the roof and hood from a tree branch. As you will see on the autocheck report, the car had a slight fender bender on the right passenger side crushing the light in 1999. That was fixed and I took that opportunity to have the exterior professionally painted and restored. The function of the AC/Heat is excellent. AC belt shows age and needs to be replaced eventually.
