AIRBAGS OK !!! As seen in the pictures this nice looking 1999 Mercedes SLK230 Hard Top Convertible has sustained a light rear end damage. The good news is that the car starts, lot runs/drives and all airbags ok. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale. No middle man involved. Pics clearly show the overall condition of the car. Car starts and Engine runs good and we were able to lot drive the car. No suspension damage. All glass ok. Other areas of the exterior in good condition and paint still shines great. Hard convertible top opens/closes with the push of a button. The rear end is nearly in tact with no exterior damaged parts besides the missing bumper cover. Taillights, trunk lid, etc are all ok as seen in the pics. The trunk floor has some damage (see pic) and left quarter/side has a small dent on the exterior due to the rear impact. Both should easily get back to normal after some pulling at the body shop. Again, the top opens/closes fine and no damage to it due to the rear hit. Check out the detailed pics below and feel free to ask any questions you might have. A SMALL NOTE ON SALVAGE VEHICLES

We specifically deal with light damaged or theft recovered salvage rebuildable vehicles. This vehicle was picked up from an insurance auction for resale. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.

We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed).
