1953 Triumph Thunderbird

According to the serial number I believe this is a 1953 Triumph Thunderbird. The engine serial is 6T 42685. The frame number is 8647N. Have no idea of actual mileage. This has been stored in our barn for many years. I believe someone started a rebuild and never finished. The cylinder head looks to me like it was possibly bored...doesnt appear to have any wear ridge at all. The pistons look to me to have zero or very little wear. The transmission and motor turn freely with the kick start. Its been sitting just like this for many years, so it will need a thorough cleaning and going over. Im not sure that I can find them, but I have the carbs someplace. If (I mean IF) I can locate them, they will be included in this auction along with some other bolts and parts that I believe go with this bike.
