For your shopping enjoyment I am presenting my 1972 Honda CB500 Cafe Racer. It has new black paint, newly painted 4-2 black exhausts, pod filters, clubman bars w/bar-end mirror, 1/4 cafe fairing with smoked shield, new battery, newly polished engine covers and nearly new tires (about 95%), along with a few custom and fabricated parts which I made or added. Carbs have been cleaned and jetted, oil changed, and chain lubed. Bike starts instantly with either kick or electric starter and runs great. Mileage is actually unknown (new speedo) but previous owner stated about 29000 miles. The bike looks great and draws attention everywhere it goes. Now for the bad........ a split in one of the fork boots,one small nick on top of tank which I touched up and it won't show in the pics.... you have to look for it to see it at all...... also there are no turn signals on the bike. I still have them if they are needed...... wiring is still intact and they worked when removed so it should be plug and play to install them. Lastly, the mirrors shown don't come with the bike..... I broke one of them while adjusting it. There is now a bar end mirror on the left side only. Please bid high and often...... I have poured hours of sweaty labor and tons of love into the creation of this bike. I would sure like to keep it but my wife says 18 bikes are just waaaaay to many and I need cash to work on my Ducati projects....... payment must be made in cash or cashier check which MUST clear your bank before you take possession of the bike ,just the check not the cash :) ..... Overseas bidders are welcome but payment must be made in USD before taking possession. A $500 nonrefundable deposit paid via pay-pal is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. Shipping: I may deliver for a fee if you live close, or you can have it shipped..... I can easily load bike on trailer or truck from my house or will take it to a shipping point close to my home if winner has it shipped. I have described the bike as honestly as I can...... it has no problems other than stated and is ready to ride. It is almost 40 years old and has a few scratches here and there on the chrome from wear and time but they don't take away from the bike. Overall it is a beautiful bike and should give the new owner years of enjoyment. Happy bidding...............
