1968 Triumph Tiger

Everything on this bike is fully restored or brand new and will offer years of trouble free enjoyment as a show piece or daily driver.This bike received the same treatment as all of our custom bikes.You can see more of our work here www.acmechoppers.net Lets talk about the bike and it's components : Frame: 1968 front frame , uncut unaltered Motor: 1971 fully rebuilt, and when I say" rebuilt "I MEAN IT ! This was torn down to the bare cases everything was cleaned bead blasted and scrubbed.All the bearing are new,the crank was ground and checked for straightness,the rods have new bearings have been checked to be straight and parallel at both ends.It's bored + .040 and fitted with new pistons and rings.The head is rebuilt with the valve seated cut and new vales,valve springs and keepers.The carb has been rebuilt and has a new velocity stack. Exhaust: Hand made Acme 2 into 1 Ignition: Brand new Joe Hunt magneto Trans: Fully rebuilt 4 speed with all new bushings ,springs, and bearings Front End ,bars:Rebuilt with new fork tubes -3.000" under,new neck bearings,fork seals,acme stainless steel drag bars,brand new "P" risers, new clutch and brake levers, and new black gran torismo grips. Hardtail:David Brid +2.000" looptail Oil tank: Acme modified sportster oil tank with triumph feed bung added Gas Tank: 1968 Triumph, with new tank badges ( I also have brand new knee pads for the tank, I can't make up my mind about putting them on ? If you want them I will install them before shipping) Wheels, Brakes: Front wheel is rebuilt with new bearings,brake shoes and Avon safety front tire, rear wheel with rebuilt with new bearings, brake shoes,sprocket and shinko double white line tire. Every bolt an nut of this bike has been scrutinized over , just as a small example "all "the hardware has been stripped and black oxide coated for a vintage look ........crazy !!
