1964 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible- This gorgeous Stingray Roadster with a removable hardtop is a real head-turner. The classic lines of this silky, sleek corvette could only be improved with some superior muscle. Upgraded with a factory rebuilt, crated 1972 GM 454, she packs over 400hp under the hood. Tachometer reads 82,000 original miles, but there is less than 15,000 on rebuilt motor. Additional enhancements include a Holley 750 4-barrel carb mated to an Edelbrock Torker II Intake, 4-bolt main crank and headers with 4" collectors. Attached to the power plant is a 4-speed Borg Warner Super T-10 transmission with a new clutch and balanced flywheel. Transfering all the aggression to the tarmac are Cragar Deep-Dish mag rims with 275/60 R15's in the rear. The fiberglass body is in fantastic shape and has been repainted in GM Teal Pearl and sports a cowl induction hood to improve performance. The interior is in fair, original condition showing signs of normal use over the years. Make no mistake, this is not a frame-up restoration with matching #'s, nor is it priced like one.
