Thanks for viewing, For sale is a 1985 Mercedes Benz 190D. This car runs and drives very well, however, it smokes. I was told it may be an injector pump but I am not familiar with these cars. I am selling it for a friend. It does run and drive real well. It is clean inside and out but has some of the clear coat coming off. I understand these cars get great mpg. The interior is without tears and in overall real nice condition, as stated the exterior has no major dings or damage but the clearcoat is starting to fade off. The smoke issue is similiar to mesquito abatement equipment so I would not plan to drive it until it was repaired. Given the way it runs and drives, I would suspect the injector pump could be the culprit. Please call with any questions, Bill 530-519-2195. I will answer the best I can.
