Vehicle Detail

I bought this car a couple years ago. It had a 455, but the engine was no good. I had a 1970 Grand Prix that I bought years before that, which had a rebuilt 455 XF code and casting 66 heads. I have the machine shop paperwork that shows what all was done, and I think the total was around 4000.00 I decided to put a hot engine in a not so hot boat/convterible. The engine is solid, smooth, powerful. NO SMOKE, NO TICKS, NO KNOCKS, NOTHING. It pulls hard when the 4 barrel opens. The transmission shift like a turbo 400 is supposed to...no slipping etc. It stops well, and there are no front end noises. The doors shut solid. It will drive home, no problem. It has fresh oil and coolant from the swap in last summer. I am not excited about getting rid of the 455 but the car is just not my idea of a good looking Pontiac. The bad that i can think of.... top is shot, one back window is off track. I think the pass window is stuck down. The carpet was not the best so I cut it out where the floor pans were and cheap skated it with house carpet.. works pretty well really.... for what it is. The seats are worn out. The paint is faded, and scratched all over from a tarp and bungy cords....although it is original and there is not bondo in this car anywhere that I am aware of...and i would see it. The rear bumper is faded in areas, the truck is solid but old. The car could be a nice cruiser with a top, carpet kit and a simple maaco paint job. Or, leave it as it is, until you need the hot 455 for something more exciting. The radiator does not leak, and is a big 4 core I think, it leaves no oil spots or tranny leaks...NONE. The brakes stop the car well...the windshield is NOT cracked. I would fly in and drive it home now that warm weather is here. I will post the engine details tomorrow when i get to work. Most of my vehicles sell with the buy it now, in fact, it will... I am not patient, and start to lower the buy it now until someone just sees the deal and gets it...really. So, if you are interested, and have questions, ask sooner than later. The last three cars I have sold on ebay, I received emails from bidders asking what happened.... this car will sell. On that note, please....please just pay for it when you buy it. I dont want to hear from your Grandma, or girlfriend, I want to get an email that say you paid for it. I will pick you up at the airport or bring the car there, full of gas if the buy it now is used. I will not let you come here and restore it, then use my shower afterwords....that gets weird. I have a signed off title NOT IN MY NAME, but will give you the option of 1. I put it in my name, and the title comes in 3 weeks. 2. You take the car with the clear signed off title and I give you 100.00 in cash so I dont have to mess with it. This is the best description I can give. I would imagine the car will sell for far less than the engine costs to build, and you can part out and scrap the thing and make out just fine. Thanks for reading... DavidOn May-21-11 at 12:34:27 PDT, seller added the following information: The engine was rebuilt by Deans automotive machine in prescott Az. The total bill was 2687.65 and another bill for 763.29 at the same time, from the same shop. The papers will be in the glovebox of the car... looks like it will sell sooner than I thought. I will drive the car to the airport if you fly in. If you want it delivered to Oregon or Washington, let me know.. i may do it for not much money. I am looking at the title, and its signed off, dated 8-03-09 price $500.00.... I can put it in my name at the time of the sale, and have a clear title in my name in about 3 weeks, or you take it as it is...for $100.00 off the final price. Reserve is close to 2200...dont remember exactly.
