1968 TORINO WITH 28,000+ MILES, 2 OWNERS SINCE NEW! 390 cu in with a 4 speed I am the second owner on this car, and I have documentation back to 1968 to back it up. The car was purchased in the state of Washington and the original owner moved to Texas in the year 2000. The Marti report shows and the door data plate matches; 63D X 6B 19U 74 5 5 Torino GT Pres. Blue Blue Vinyl Bench Build 7/19/1968 Seattle 3.00 Axle 4 Speed Trans The car has had 1 repaint since new, and retains all of its original body panels. The paint is a 9 out of a 10 ( there are no 10's) and the body is laser straight. The chrome is a 7 out of 10, and looks all original never having the bumpers replated they still look excellent as well. The interior is also all original and is exceptional, the carpet has been replaced and it has an AM/FM cassette player that was installed in the 80's. The Torque Thrust wheels were installed in 1969 and are in mint condition, I do not have the original GT wheels but the spare is still in the trunk with a Bias tire ( I don't know if it's the original spare but the jack is) . It has a Holley 4 barrell on the engine now with an Edelbrock intake, when I detailed the engine I replaced the water pump, but kept the original. The car runs and drives beautifully, all the guages and lights work and the emergency brake works as well. It does not have power steering and never did, it was bought for the muscle. The exhaust is probably 25 years old as it still has Cherry Bombs! It sounds great and does not leak but you may want to put flowmasters on it. I wouldn't because it has that great sound from the 60's we enjoyed so why change it! it also has headers and I don't have the original manifolds. I am sure the mileage is correct but I will not Guarantee it, if you review the paperwork you will see it matches and I was told it was correct. Questions, my cell number is 828-808-3864.
