Up for auction is a pristine, one-owner CERTIFIED PREOWNED 2004 VW Beetle Convertible GLS 1.8L Turbo 5-Speed in Aquarius Blue / Black with 45K original miles. This spotless rag-top is fully loaded with cold weather leather seat package ($1,000 option) and VW's outstanding 1.8L turbo engine, which actually gets better MPG than either of the 2.0L or 2.5L automatic versions. Of course this is a clean Carfax Certified vehicle that has never been in any prior accidents. This particular bug has lived a charmed and pampered life while cruising the streets of Coronado Island in San Diego. Again this one-owner, non-smoker, female driven Southern California car is in very good "all-original" condition, both inside and out.
From a condition standpoint, by looks of the top and brilliance / glossiness of the exterior paint, this car has definitely been garage-kept (again NO prior accidents or collision damage). The tires are virtually brand new and the OEM alloy wheels have zero curb rash. On the interior the carpet and seats show very little sign of wear and tear for a 2004 model year vehicle. The convertible top still looks great and works flawlessly, as does everything on the car. So no broken buttons or switches or any other abnormalities to report - everything works on the car and is fully functional. Out-of-state buyers are subject to a $55 doc prep fee, $19.00 CA registration transfer fee and may also be subject to 8.75% sales tax. All licensed CA Dealers must collect sales tax due unless: a) the buyer transports the vehicle (on a freight carrier), or b) registration is obtained in the buyer’s home state prior to delivery of the vehicle.
