Wife owned car since new in 1989, always garaged, virtually no rust. Always well-maintained. Great condition inside and out. Goes really nicely. Water-tight. Takes 4 people around town and on the highway in comfort. Seat belts work fine. Ash trays never been used. Original mats always used and still in place. Great little car, but wife now wants an Audi.... A few corner bumper and shopping-cart dings plus ding under front passenger door as shown in photos. I was told the door sill should be tapped with a hammer on a piece of wood to re-align it. Also two marks on dash as shown in photos. The plastic coating is peeling from all four whell hubs. Runs well, always starts. Battery three years old. The radio sound from the left speaker sometimes comes and goes. New exhaust system only 6 months ago. Inspection expired in January. After the auction, I will give you the address here, come by, pay, and I will sign the certificate of title on the reverse. You can leave it on my driveway for up to a week whilst you insure the vehicle, put plates on it and take it away for inspection. In last 5 years: Radiator, Water Punp, Left and right drive axles, rubber housings, Tires, Battery, rear right light cluster, oil and filter changes. 3. In last 6 months: Mienke axhaust system and oil and filter changes. 4. Problems now: it dripped some fluid (not oil) from the front in October, but then not after. No it doesn't burn oil in any meaningful way and we yes do have both original keys to give you, which operate all locks. We do not have any manuals or instruction books for it, they were lost many years ago (they could still be in my mother-in-law's apartment - somewhere.....). (I made an error above regarding the replacement exhaust). FEB 07: Replace - rear light. JUNE 08: Replace - d/s wheel bearings, front brakes rotor, brake pads. OCT 08: Replace - E brake cable, 2 tires. FEB 09: Replace - radiator, thermostat, hoses. DEC 09: Replace - l axle boot, lower ball joints. OCT 10: Muffler (Midas). I know other stuff has been done, but I can't find the documentation.
