1970 Dodge Coronet 440 "Super Bee""CLONE" Southern Car This super sharp 1970 Coronet 440 automatic was originally bought as a super solid southern coronet several years ago, since moving to the midwest the car has always been heated garage winter kept and slightly driven on clear pleasant summer days. This Mopar 440 runs top notch with just a touch of the key, Motor has been dressed up with headers,edlebrock aluminum intake, edelbrock 4-barrel, aluminum radiator,5-blade fan,MSD ignition box, with some other chrome ad ons. Freshly rebuilt 727 automatic transmission with 2500 stall converter/B&M shift kit, there is under 500 miles on this transmission which was done six months ago along with all brand new drum brakes all the way around.. Before hand three years ago the car seen a fresh B-7 blue paint job, There was no replacement panels or filler body work needed. The car is very solid, the paint was just old and didnt show well. After a complete paint makeover, the rear bumper was replaced with a new, the front has light blemishes and would only need rechromed to be perfect, but does not look bad as-is. The simulated hood air dams were added and painted with the car during the paint & decal process which was done by a paint shop. The repaint turned out nice and the car has had a million thumbs up with many complements, i believe it could of been better for the price, but it looks like the day it left the shop and has not yet seen a hard water car wash, always hand washed and waxed carefully. With the exterior in the standards, the interior was already close perfect when purchased and not yet changed or touched, the passenger side door panel hand grip vinyl is tore. All seats, door locks, door windows, gauges, signals, lights, switches operate or function perfectly. Overall this is a super solid, very well cared for running and driving show or cruise quality car. This car is private owned with a current clear illinois title. The coronet will be heated garage kept until a new owner puts her on the street..
