First off and up front this is not a Willys MB but rather a 1946 Willys Cj2A redone to look like a WWII Willys MB. The jeep starts, runs and drives very well. The motor does not smoke and sounds good. The transmission and transfer case work as they should as does the 4 wheel drive. The vehicle still retains the original 6 volt electrical system which works fine. The battery is a year old and the 5 tires are brand new. the gages all work with the exception of the gas gage which isn't hooked up. The siren and black out light are not hooked up. The seat cushions front and rear are in good shape with no holes or rips. The floors have been patched and are solid but they were not done to restoration quality but rather function. The body has other sheet metal patches, most of which are meant to cover body details of the civilian body. The top is good with no holes. All the pictures were taken with the jeep running. The jeep is being sold exactly as shown with everything you see on it including the leather scabbord and the NON FIRING MOCK-UP of the M1 Grand. EBAY TAKE NOTE THIS FOR SHOW ONLY RIFLE IS A COMPLETE DUMMY AND CAN NEVER BE MADE TO FIRE. The jeep drives well on the road and the brakes including the emergency brake work well. This jeep is never going to be a real MB obviously and would probably never be a good canidate for a restoration to original CJ specs either, but what a real good driving head turner or great for parades or reinactments. You have to really look it over to be able to tell it's really not a WWII jeep. A lot of time was put into making this jeep look the part including LOTS of MB parts. This jeep is bing sold with a copy of the NH registration and a Bill of Sale as NH does not title vehicles this old. This should be all you need to register it in your state but please verify this with your DVM before bidding. I require a $500.00 deposit by Paypal within 48 hours and the balance in cash or ? within 7 days of the auctions end.
