1964 Historical Convertible CORVAIR made by CHEVROLET Family Owned & Always Garaged SUMMER FUN CRUISING in a Convertible and always Starts New Battery in 2010 - Low 41,000 Original Miles AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION REAR ENGINE CHEVY 99% Rust Free, the only rust is showing on a few of the marks on body. Very Well Undercoated and still holding up well. New White Top in the last 10 years. This is the Original Baby Blue Paint Color but I am not sure if this is all original paint I believe some body work was done at one time. All Window seals and door seals are in excellent shape. I would keep this car as it is because it is becoming harder and harder to find - especially with low miles and great condition with age (47 yrs old), but am forced to sell off in a divorce. In the past year I added all seat belts (originally had none) and added an 8 Track Craig Tape Player. I believe the Engine was been rebuilt in the last 12 years- These cars were always known for their Oil Leaks and can be minimized by checking and tightening a few bolts every year (simple). Affordable Classic Car and Show Ready! This car has new tires, and a spare tire under hood, top is manual and in excellent shape, and underbody is super with solid floor boards. Mechanically- only problems I know of are: Left turn Signal is not blinking but light works (possibly plate in steering column not getting proper contact or a ground somewhere) Last Spring the gas guage stopped registering, I believe the float needs changed- rear end is a little lower than it should be, probably spring or spring support. One valve appears to stick every now and then (once every couple years) however, I flushed oil and cleaned engine inside and appeared to take care of problem. The original Air Cleaner was missing but replaced with dual chrome singles (dual carburetors) I have parts books to include. Payment must be made at time of pick-up by Certified Bank Check or Cash .
