We are selling a 1949 Dodge Brothers small window Pick up truck .Very complete including drive train and original hubcaps. Keep in mind that this is a 62 year old truck so it is not real pretty at this point. But a good solid project truck base for restoration or rat rod. There is no rot or rust through that we can find. The driver side has seen some damage in the past as the rear fender has been repaired and the bottom of the cab below the fuel filler neck has a large dent that has been started to be pulled, We have a 51 cab that we will happily cut a patch panel from for easy fix. and the door shows signs of some Bondo but no rot. Cab floors are solid. The bed on this truck is the best we have seen. The side rails are straight. Tailgate is arrow straight and the top tube is as close to perfect as they come. Bed floor is long gone. and has a peace of plywood in. This truck includes a very good hood ornament. The nose trim is present but bottom two not great and need some work. one of the side hood name badges is missing. driver door glass is broken the rest is in good shape. Tires all hold air and have all original Dodge hub caps Original 6 cylinder engine turns over freely and we were told it was last run last year. But will need the wiring freshened up as has multiple breaking in shielding. We will attempt to get it jumped and started while it is listed. Will not be drivable as brakes are not working. but emergency brake does work. At this time we are not parting this truck out but we do have another 49 parts truck. ( no bed or rear fenders) so ask for your needs. Please feel free to study all pictures and then ask your questions as we want only happy buyers. We try to answer all questions. Due to age this truck is sold as is were is. If you want to inspect or send someone to do it for you feel free. This truck is being sold on a lien sale packet with bill of sale. International bidder are welcome. We will gladly assist your shipper with loading( we can obtain title for international shipping if you need it done.) Truck sold as local pick up only but we can deliver within 150 miles for $1.50 per mile On May-13-11 at 17:23:39 PDT, seller added the following information: OK We got her started today and she ran well. We used a seperate bottle of fuel as don't know the condition of fuel tank. and bypassed the electrical in the cab as it will need to be rewired, (old wiring, with broken shielding). Started up and idled and throtled well. Carb appears rebuilt. Also noticed under the plywood the metal strips for the bed floor are not present.
