1985 Jaguar XJ6 Series III Offered for your consideration is this Series III Jaguar XJ6. The last and most desireable series in the earlier Jaguar saloons. I have been commuting with this Jaguar for about a month and usually travel about 70 miles per day. The car is very solid and is a rust free Western example and is very dependable. . I have recently replaced minor items like the battery, dash bulbs, and the fuel pump. The photo of the interior was taken while the car was in a service facility having the dash bulbs and radio replaced and that is the reason the underdash wires are visible. The car is finished in Artic White exterior with a Dark Blue leather interior. The body is straight with one minor scrape/dent on the left sided and the paint is very acceptable. I think a good compound and waxing would enhance the exterior very nicely. The leather is good, but the cotton stitching is starting to "pop" in places. I think it could be restitched. I have not owned the car long. I took it as payment on a debt. I started using it daily when my truck was down for mechanical problems. This Jaguar has 5 good tires, the spare is like new and the 4 on the ground have appx. 70% tread life remaining. The A/C blows very cold and the power windows and power sunroof function as well. The radio is a am/fm/cd/mp3 and is new as is the antenna. Equipped with the spare wheel and tire, jack, tools and owners' manual. Clear title in hand. In summary this is a very good everyday driver with plenty of style, cold a/c, great tunes that should service you well. Buyer responsible for shipping and transportation.
