This is a R90S that is fitted with a type 247 engine, otherwise known as an airhead. It has the TT Smoke Silver with gold pinstripes. Only 6,058 of these were made back in '74. This bike was originally bought in Midland, Texas and I bought it from the original owner who owned the BMW dealership before it closed. I don't have the original fairing or the back original wheel. This is the way I bought the bike and I only have put around 200 miles on the bike since I bought it back in 2000. I haven't had it licensed since 2003 and it has just sat in the garage. I just put in a new battery, worked the carberators, cleaned the jets, changed oil and the oil filter. The gas tank will need to be coated again and I provided the picture to show that the coating is trying to come off. The RPM cable is dragging and it needs to be lubed up. Both hand brake and foot brake are not working. The front forks need to be rebuilt and add the right hydraulic oil. It will start and run and this motor has never had a wrench put to it and is all original. I will only ACCEPT PAY PAL and payment is due within 7 days after the auction ends.
