Vehicle Detail
For sale is a beautiful 2000 Lexus GS 400 in rare Spectra Blue (only available in 1998-2000). I am the third owner having purchased the car in September of 2009 when it had 131K miles. The second owner purchased the car in 2003 and I have all service records from then forward. The second owner added a $600 Borla exhaust and an SRT intake and chip. He thought that bumped the horsepower up to 350 from 300, but it is plenty fast for me. The car has been smoke-free since I've owned it, the second owner said the same which I believe was true based on the interior condition and the lack of even the faintest hint of a smoke smell. When I bought the car, I installed brand new Lexus G-Spyder wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires for $2250 (so they have about 12K miles on them with many miles left to go). Both front lower ball joints have been replaced and the car rides smooth as silk. The timing belt and water pump were replaced at 102K and a full Lexus dealer 120K service was completed at 123K at Plaza Lexus in St Louis. All I've pretty much had to do since owning the car is oil changes and put in a new battery. The car does have some small rock chips in the front fascia and hood like you might expect in a car that has 140K miles, but the paint still shines and looks awesome! The car has a factory 6 disc CD changer, a power moonroof, HID headlamps, and spoiler. I paid $10,000 for the car, then added about $3000 for the wheels, tires and ball joints. You won't find a better ride for under $10,000. The car is located in Washington, Missouri, about an hour southwest of St. Louis down I-44.On May-15-11 at 21:03:06 PDT, seller added the following information:NOTE: Someone has taken the information from this listing and posted this same vehicle for sale on Craigslist in Cleveland, Denver, and San Francisco and who knows where else at a sale price of $2,500. I'm not sure how they intend to rip you off, but this is a scam. The car is obviously NOT for sale for $2,500. Thank you to several ebayers who notified me of this.
