Vehicle Detail

Well I'm sure no expert on Broncos, but this 1972 Half cab Bronco came my way, V.i.a. a friend, who is an over the road trucker. He bought it in El Paso Texas about 15 years ago and it has just sat around ever since. He would get it going every once and a while, and then would store it again. It won't win any beauty contests, and it is pretty dirty, and it is exactly how I got it. First the minuses, as I see them. It has not run for a couple of years and may need whatever that may dictate. (battery, fresh gas, etc). It has a few scrapes and dings and it's certainly is not perfect . It is missing a rear tail lite lense and the driver door panel is coming loose, and the window track is off. It has light rust showing on the tail gate. Now for a few of its plusses.... He says the engine runs excellent, and this vehicle is mechanically sound. I know that none of theses old Broncos are 100% rust free, but this is one of the best I 've seen. Rember it has spent 25 years in El Paso Texas. As far as rust goes, this is a real good vehicle. I know it has all "James Duff" equipment ( lift kit, shocks, shifter, guards, etc). The tires have almost zero miles on them and are excellent. It ha a 302 V-8 engine with a manual floor shift. It's sure not perfect, but if you would like to fix up, or build a half cab Bronco, this one would be hard to pass up. I have no doubt that someone more mechanical than myself could have it up and going again in very short order. It is almost 40 years old and is being sold as is. I would much rather you plan for the worst, and hope for the best, than be disappointed in any way. I have a clear and open Colorado title for it. Now, that having been said, I can't imagine finding a nicer vintage project half cab for the price. My opening bid is 3500.00 with no reserve. I have a feeling that whoever ends up with it will be elated. If I do not sell it, I will have my mechanic get it going and re-list it that way. I reserve the right to end the auction early due to an interested neighbor who restores them. Terms of sale I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can. If you have zero feedback, contact me before you bid or your bid will be canceled, and you will be blocked from further bidding as well. A $200.00 non-refundable PayPal deposit is due within 48 hours of the auctions end. The balance is due via bank/certified check, or cash in person within 7 days of the auctions end. If you are an out of the states buyer, I will gladly work with you in regards to the time and details it takes to process payment. Thank you for considering my auction, and Good luck bidding!
