This Triumph has done 48,700 miles. It is freshly painted inside and out and is a very handsome car in Saphire Blue. The TR6 was totally rebuilt 2 years ago after being dismantled 32 years ago. The engine and gearbox are original to the car. Many new parts have been fitted including: complete clutch assembly, new brake rotors, calipers, master cylinder and hydraulics, new starter motor, alternator, seats and carpets, rollover bar, new radiator (not really needed as it turned out), Monza exhaust. An original hard top is included (not restored some trim missing). The seat covers and padding and carpets are new. The inside door panels are original and if they were renewed (not expensive) the car's interior would look as good as the outside. The tyres have good tread but are from the 70's! The spare wheel has been lost and a TR4 wheel is in its place (spacesaver!). Before rebuilding it in 2008/9 this TR6 was last driven in 1979 and the windshield had the 1979 RMV sticker still fixed when we acquired the car. The dismantled car stayed with the original owner's family until 2006. I have included a picture of how the car was delivered to us prior to rebuilding so you can see the extent of the work. The car drives extremely well, sounds great, looks fantastic and has been very reliable (we have had 8500 trouble free miles since the rebuild). The car can be viewed in Holliston MA.
