Up for bids is a very rare 1942 military issue WW2 Dodge 1/2 ton pickup 2WD. The truck has all matching numbers, with a clear black & white title. It has all new glass, new wood floor, window and door regulators rebuilt as well all locks and latches. (still has the orignal DPCD key) Windshield regulator is also in good working order. Have windshield vacuum motor, arm and blade, not in picture. Wood in bed all rotted, has been stabilized with square tubing. Tailgate is workable, has new hinges. Excellent battery box, no broke seat springs. Original spare tire carrier. (with proper wing nut) Motor truns free, would not take much to get it running, just have not had the time. The only rust spot on the entire truck is by the body mount bolt on the inside passenger floor board. This is a non-event, I wouldn't touch it. (see picture) This truck needs a total restoration, but most of the hard stuff has been done, and all the parts that are usually missing are there. This would be an easy rebuild for a very rare and desirable truck. The truck is located in Wichita Falls, Texas and it will be the responsibility of the high bidder to arrange transport. There will be people on this end to assist in loading. The truck needs to be picked up within 30 days after end of auction, but other arrangments can be made. High bidder will pay half down within 10 working days after end of auction, with final half being payed when truck is picked up. Sorry, NO PERSONAL CHECKS!
