You don't really have to have a Paypal account to buy this car, I just specify that in order to minimize phony bidders. If you don't like Paypal, just email me through "Contact Seller" prior to the final day. Excellent running 4 cylinder Fiero with automatic transmission. This 2M4 handles great, steers and stops good, and all 4 tires are excellent. Car is fun to drive, starts right up every time, and both pop up headlight mechanisms operate properly. All other interior and exterior lights and signals work properly as well. The cruise control also works perfectly, and the car cruises smoothly at expressway speeds, but wants to overheat after 20 miles or so. A Fiero expert told me it may just be a bad thermostat or an air void in the system, but more than likely, one of the old radiator hoses is collapsing when it gets hot, which suddenly prevents the coolant from circulating. Either way, it's good to drive around town, and would be an excellent candidate for restoration. The paint is faded, and the seats have a couple of tears, but the body is perfectly straight, and there's practically no rust underneath the car. It simply needs a paint job to look like new again. The only problem other than the cooling situation is a cracked windshield, and the original radio doesn't work. The clock on the radio works fine however. If you've never owned a first generation Fiero, forget what the pattern-thinkers have told you. They are not powerless, they are not hard to steer, and at 55 years old and 6'2", I am living proof they are not hard to get in and out of. The first Fieros were very innovative cars, and the massive population of them still on the road 27 years after they were built is a tribute to their durability. Early Fieros also have unique features like radio speakers inside the headrests, and the 2M4's have Ferrari-like lines. They don't suffer from the dopey looking "aero nose" that Pontiac stuck on the later model GT's. Good luck bidding. All questions will be answered. Check my feedback, and bid with confidence. On May-10-11 at 07:47:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Please be advised: I own 2 Fieros, and mistakenly entered the wrong VIN number for this car. Ebay prevents me from uploading the correct information at this point, so I had a CARFAX report run on the correct VIN. It revealed 6 past owners (instead of 4), and it also showed no accident history. The report did include a "fire event" 12 years ago, but included no details. I can find no evidence that this car has ever experienced a fire, but I'm told that if a fire department is called for any reason (like a radiator overheating), the event is entered into the record. I doubt any of this matters to the buyer of a 27 year old car in this price range, but thought it should be disclosed. The correct VIN number is 1G2AM37R1EP259100
