1967 DODGE CHARGER Beautiful Fastback Mopar Muscle Car CLEAN, SOLID, Mint outside/ inside and under! Runs Perfect. Get in and drive! (881) Bright Blue Metallic Paint Low , 62k original miles! 383 CI / 325 HP V8 ( only 12300 miles on engine) 4V Carburetor 904 TorqueFlight Automatic Transmission 322 Ratio Sure- Grip Rear Axle Power Disc Brakes: Front AND Rear Center Console Bucket Seats Fold Down Rear Buckets Extremely clean/ detailed engine and engine compartment! ********This Charger originally had a 318 engine. The previous owner had a completely rebuilt 383 installed at 49990 miles during 'restoration/ refurbishment'. Extensive paperwork and documentation on work done. reciepts, a full binder of everything! Rare 1967 Fastback : only 15,788 built! features include: Hideaway headlamps (work PERFECT!!!) backup lights lighting package/ center console carpeting in interior and trunk. (all in great shape!) security panel for trunk Lap belts at all 4 seats Self Adjusting front sway bar Internal hood release handle Tachometer Oil pressure gauge tinted rear window All lights, wipers, gauges, locks, handles, windows, etc work perfect! The dash electroluminescence lights, relays, etc were all replaced, and glow beautifully!!! All Glass is good, no cracks/ delamination/ spidering, etc. glass i in great shape! all brightwork is in very good condition.. some pitting .. not #1 show.. but a solid #2! CAR WAS REPAINTED IN 2000.. VERY GOOD PAINT JOB.. AGAIN, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A 1000 POINT AACA #1 SHOW CAR.. THIS IS NOT IT..... BUT IT IS ONE OF THE NICEST #2 DRIVER/ SHOW/ CRUISE IN CARS YOU WILL COME ACROSS! THE BODY IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE FLOORS, TRUNK, ROCKERS, ETC ARE ALL IN SUPER NICE SHAPE. I AM NOT A BODY MAN.. BUT I BELIEVE THE CAR TO BE ALL ORIGINAL SHEETMETAL.. THERE MIGHT BE SOME PUTTY UNDER THE PAINT.. BUT I CANT SEE IT. NO WAVES THAT I CAN SEE (OR ANYONE ELSE0 AND PAINT IS OVER 10 YEARS.. SO IF ANYTHING WAS GOING TO BUBBLE THRU, OR CRUST UP.. I WOULD EXPECT TO HAVE HAPPENED BY NOW! At 49990 miles the car was ' refurbished' including: 383 engine with rebuilt heads.. new bearings and rings.. The cylinders WERE NOT BORED OUT... car runs cool as can be! even sitting in heavy traffic with the AC blowing full blast! The Carb, to the best of my knowledge, is the original Carter That came on the engine. The Carb was totally rebuilt with the engine. the transmission was ebuilt at the same time as the engine as well/ Ball joints were replaced in 2000, and have about 3k miles on them.. Front end is tight! All hoses have been replaced with new date coded hoses, new OEM battery (+) cable , original ground strap. New 'MOPAR" OEM belts All under hoos components have been replaced/ rebuilt: alt, pwr steering pump, ac lines, heater hoses, etc. (ALT is original to car and was rebuilt.. as are PS pump and AC compressor. Condensor, air dryer replaced in 2003. AC is still R12. blows cold! Gas tank boiled out.. no rust. solid as can be! Carpet replaced 12 years ago. kit from Jacobs resto. all other interior parts are factory original and in super nice shape! seats/ padding, door panels, headliner.. all just in fantastic original condition. they have the 'pantinia' of age.. but no cracks, tears, patches, etc. and not worn, or worn out.. can just tell they are original! (which I think is good!) things recently done: new cd/ radio in glovebox (see pics) the new power disc brakes on front and rear new battery new center console trim -also have a new repo tail light lens set from year one ($600 bucks!) that i did not install yet.. as i was going to get new surround brightwork trim at the same time have 2 owners manuals, and the 1967 dodge factory service manual alos, a whole box of extra parts, spares, various stuff that goes with the car Car is totally reliable,, and i would not hesitate to drive it across the country tomorrow! I had the ' itch' to get an original example of each initial fastback....(even have a Marlin!) .. anyway.. I just cannot drive what i have.. and i don't want my cars to 'sit'.. and i guess when it becomes a ' chore' to take out your car.. or you feel compelled to do it.. it's time to thin the herd. I have 2 children active in year round sports.. and my 3rd is starting.. i don't see any more time freeing up in the near future! (or the next 10 years for that matter).. so i guess i am having a 'reverse midlife crisis'.. I don't have the time to enjoy what i have. not to bore you with my ramblings.. but i always want to know exactly WHY someone is selling a car. And that's my reason. it's not a headache, no 'stories' here.. i would rather use my limited garage space for bicycles and lacrosse gear.
