2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser The timing chain on it broke and damaged the engine. A mechanic told us the engine has to be rebuilt or replaced. Prior to this, the car hadn't had any major mechanical defects or accidents while we had it (we bought it in early 2008). It had about 68K miles on it. It is a standard. It has the typical 4 doors plus hatchback, and is very roomy. Its color is off-white or cream, with a gray cloth interior. The seats are stained and the carpet needs to be replaced. We've noted the following: one hub cap/wheel cover is cracked, license plate holder is broken, small flecks that may be rust are on the back of the car, bottom of front bumper has cracks, small spot of rust below driver's side door and some scratches on the driver's side back fender. You are welcome to inspect it- just ask and we can set up a time when we're home. The winning bidder must pay cash, cashier's check verified by the bank or PayPal within 3 days of the auction close. Title will be given immediately on payment. The car must be removed by the winning bidder within 7 days. If it is not removed, it is subject to towing because its parking pass is about to expire.
