Vehicle Detail

This is one of the best looking and performing motorcycles on the road. This was Triumph’s answer to the Liter sport bike category being a 955cc displacement bike. Specs: Engine: Water cooled 3 cylinder, Multi-port injection using Sagem MC1000 EMS computer. 149 BHP, 16,380 miles. Trans: 6-speed, Chain drive. If you want a bike that turns heads everywhere you go, this is the one. This bike is widely regarded as one of the best looking sportbikes out there. You can’t beat the look of a single side swingarm, chrome rims, or the sound of a three cylinder high performance engine. And, with a custom WUNOFF underseat racing exhaust pipe, prepare for cars to get out of your way. I have installed many aftermarket parts that ad to the performance and looks of this bike: Wun-Off Racing under seat exhaust Chromed Rims Shaded Windscreen K&N air filter Cycle Cat fully adjustable Bar Risers (adds a couple inches to the bar height – more comfortable ride) Flat style front blinkers Dropped a tooth on the front sprocket (more low end) Tuneboy/TuneEdit cable and software (more below) (A $500 value) Frame Sliders This bike will quickly go faster than you want to go. It’s a fun bike with low mileage and is in excellent mechanical condition. Doesn’t leak a drop of oil, starts easily, and is very reliable. Perhaps the best thing I have done to this bike is to buy a Tuneboy/TuneEdit system. This is a cable that you hook to you computer (PC or laptop) and you can connect to the Sagem computer on the bike and do everything (and more) that the mechanics at a Triumph dealership can do. You can actually do much more with the software. You can adjust the fuel map, adjust timing, run diagnostics, load different fuel maps into the bike computer, etc. You can setup the bike to run anyway you want. This system comes with the bike and I will give you a CD that has the software, Serial code for installation, the cable that connects to the ODBII connector on the bike, and several extra tunes to try out. I currently have a tune loaded in the bike that is fairly mild and saves gas; however, I also have a race tune on there that I downloaded from a guy that races these bikes. I used it for awhile; but, although it was fun - I got tired of stopping for gas every few miles. If you are someone who wants to get into the hobby of designing your own tunes for a programmable engine computer, this is the bike for you. Mechanically, this bike is perfect. Starts easily and runs like a dream. The only thing that doesn't work is the kick stand safety switch. The bike will start and run with the kickstand down. I like it that way and have never bothered to fix it. There are a few scratches on the left side. They occurred when I let a friend try the bike out. He dropped it on the left side. It wasn’t moving at the time; however, the blacktop left a few scratches on the paint. There is also a small rock chip on the front fender.
