1969 BOSS 302 MUSTANG This car has been stored since 2000. Door Tag Information: Body 63A, Color 3, Date 22D, DSO 17, Axle S, Trans 6 All Ford Factory Vin# Stamping are still in excellent condition under the fenders and on the window & door tag! Block Casting Date: 9B17 (I don't know if this is the original Block that came in the car, I found the stamped numbers on the back of the block but they are hard to read with the motor in the car and paint in them). With the exception of a paint job in the mid 1990's the car seems to be unmolested like most 1969 BOSS302's. In early 2001 a major detailing job started with the removal of the engine and front sheet metal so that a complete stripping & repaint could be done on the engine compartment area. Just before I moved to Ohio I had a engine shop in SoCal go through it so it is fresh. Unfortunately after I moved here I never got the time to finish it. The car spent many years in Dry Southern California until I trailered it here when I temp. moved to NW Ohio a couple of years ago so the floor pans and underside are in very nice shape,I never got to the point of repainting the underside which is good now so that you can see that there is no rust on the underbody. Now due to age & health issues I am going to pass the project on to a new owner that can enjoy the car. I would say it is 95% ready to put back on the road (there are a few parts still in the trunk that need to go back on the car). You will need to buy a few new parts that I had not purchased yet like the: Battery, Master Cylinder, Brake Lines, Shocks, Spark Plug Wires, some Hoses and a few other smaller items depending on how far you want to go (basic things most people would replace when buying a used car). I believe the interior is mostly original including the black paint, with the exception of new carpet on the floor and someone put a dash cover over the original dash pad years go. (My Flash Photos of the interior make it look washed out or grayed in color but it is jet black). I had the valve covers & air cleaner top rechromed and just had them installed on the car yesterday.The Car is Very Solid and would not take much to get it back on the road. Many missing parts in the pictures have been put back on the car since most of them were taken a month ago+! I have a Folder that came to me with the car filled with paper work including all 6 Owners, only the original buyer was not located in Southern California,. The Original billing invoice to the Carl Beasley Co., Now Beasley Ford-York, PA - Only about 440 mile from where the car sits today! (Picture Posted to show what options the car was built with and for the most part I believe still has!) I will work with the buyer on delivery in a enclosed trailer if needed. I am located very close to the Ohio I-80 Turnpike and the I-280 for pickup. Compare to eBay # 230612715674 do you see $100,000.00+ Difference? Buy Mine Now And Save Big$$$$ This used car is being sold "As-Is" with no warranty, since it is a 42 year old car and still needs to be finished by the new owner. I do not class this as a restored car just a car that has been well taken car of during its 42 year life, it is not a perfect car! If you want to make it perfect it's a great starting point. But I think it is a car worth enjoying as is! I stopped building Trailer Queens Years ago as I would rather Drive & Enjoy them the way Henry wanted it! Please forgive the dust on & in the car it has truly been stored with a car cover on it the past decade and we all know how dirty he air can be in SoCal! If it stops raining here I will dust it off and take some better pictures! The 2-Pictures of the front clip with out the fenders were taken several years ago after it was striped & repainted just to show the Clean Original Ford Front clip before reassembly. This car is FOR SALE Locally so I reserve the right to end this listing early if sold. If not sold I am shipping it back to my home in California where I will be able to enjoy it year round.
