selling my 1971 chevy C10 pickup truck. truck is a regular cab and short bed model. truck runs good and is a great driver. great for shop truck, rat rod, driver or to restore. the engine is a 250 straight 6 cylinder and the transmission is a heavy duty (bull dog) 4 speed with low granny gear. the truck has had the following recent work done............NAPA rebuilt engine, new radiatior, new starter, new fuel pump, new master cylinder and brakes (front disk, rear drum), new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing, new wood in bed, 4 new cab mounts, new am/fm 8 track stereo and speakers, new door seals, new window felt and channels, new glove box liner, new front bumper, new front turn signals, new plugs, condenser, points, re-built carburetor, replaced steering box, good tires. the truck had the usual cab floor rust spots at the mounts. i took the seat out, rustproofed the area, welded new patch panels on the inside of the floor and had a custom heavy guage steel channel bent to fit the original floor pan channel shape. i places this under the truck between the floor and the new cab mounts. much stronger than the original floor and mounts. everything works on the truck (except for the back up lights....never got around to looking at them and i did not need them for inspection). truck is tagged and inspected and drives good. drives straight and feels good. the engine has a aftermarket header with dual exhaust and glass pack mufflers. sounds good. i am selling this with NO RESERVE. i need to thin out the collection and now that i did all the hard work to the truck it is time to turn my attention to my 64' chevy truck or one of my other projects. $500 due by PAYPAL within 48 hours of end of auction. please call me with any questions (john #302-598-6771 please call after 5:00 pm on weekdays). truck is originally from the mid west. buyer to pick up this truck or arrange for your own shipping.
