This is a restoration project I started a few years ago and have bought another Thunderbird since, that was already restored. I have purchased about 95% of what is needed to complete this car, the only few items missing that I know of will be the Tach cable, speedometer cable, windshield and wiring harness, spare tire, jack and lug wrench and a few little odds and ends. I pretty much have everything else you will need to complete the job. The gauges will also need to be restored as well. The body needs to be redone, there are a few minor surface rust areas that need to be touched up in the engine compartment on the firewall and LH front fenderwell. There is no Bondo or patch work. The doors were reskinned and nothing else that I'm aware of. You will only need to scuff the primer and address the surface rust areas and prime. Choose your color, beaware that my interior choice was red. The frame is complete and painted semi gloss black, its ready for the body to be placed back on after body has been painted. Engine and transmission are rebuilt and ready for key. The exhaust is stainless and new from front to rear. New front and rear disc break set up. New tires with better than fair original condition hub caps. Comes with new leather interior,not after market, original OEM ( Red ) all new foam, seat frames. This car is ready for a new home, I have to many projects going and need the room. I have to much to list or take pictures of, if you have any questions I can answer all with no problems. This is a great project car for a serious builder, I've done most of the hard work for you already, all you need to do is decide on the color. Parts on hand: New radiator, new gas tank with straps, all new refurbished chrome, new dash pad, interior panels and powersteering, chrome steering column with tilt, new steering box. New carpet set, trunk mat, door seal kit, Original radio, new brake manifold, I also have a restored hardtop with port hole window, Colonial white which is not included but will sell seperate. I will also consider delivery within 500 miles of 36551 if a delivery fee can be worked out.
