This is an origional bike with 5,580 origional miles on it that I bought from the 83 year old owner who bought it new in Cleveland,Ohio, in 1974. I have origional papers and documentation. I have owned 3 of these TR5T Triumphs over the years and this is by far the best one and I fully intended to keep it in my collection. However, 2 weeks after I bought it, I found a bike I have wanted for years, a Norton International, so the Trophy has to go to help pay for the Norton. I have sold a nice Honda GB500 and a 2001 Bonneville so far, with this Triumph and a Moto Guzzi Mille and Norton Electra are remaining to be sold. I still have a lot of very nice old bikes that I am keeping until I get old, since I am only 76. This TR5T is not perfect since it was ridden and lived in Ohio and Florida and has some slight pitting on headlight and a couple of other minor places. The wheel rim chrome is excellant as is the tank finish.. The side covers were repainted and the decals replaced over the years. The instruments work and the bike is in good working order. It has the origional exhaust system in very good condition. It has all of the origional air cleaning system, including the origional rubber connecting hose and clamps.
