With the long hood and the sweeping lines of the fenders it is a work of art. The owner that built this car built it for his wife. He started with a nice rust free car and preceeded to make it comfortable and easy to drive. The frame was treated to a 1974 nova front clip and leaf spring rearend. This old girl rides and drives great with the new suspension. The Century was then fitted with a modern drive train consisting of a new 350 chevy crate motor with a turbo transmission. The motor was topped off with an edelbrock 600 cfm carb, electronic ignition and breaths through duel exhaust. The drive train has a total of 59 miles on it since the build. The body is straight showing no signs of rot. The car was treated to a new single stage acrylic paint job, the paint shines and looks good! All the windows and weatherstripping are new as well. The grill was handbuilt and looks amazing. The chrome mostly is in good shape except for the bumpers. The owner could not make up his mind, chroming or powder coating? Looks like the new owner will have to make that call! There is also one park light lense that is missing. Even with those items the car looks amazing driving down the road! Most people have never even seen a 40 buick. The interior of this Buick will take your breath away it is truely a work of art. You start by opening the two doors as the car welcomes you to its luxury! The details inside are incredible, the back seat is original to the car and feels better than my favorite chair. The front seats are modern to include a power driver seat and a reclining passenger seat. The car is very comfortable. The dash has the elegant charm of the forties with modern day options. All of the gauges work and look at the black screen in the center console. This is the information center and will tell you when any of the doors,trunk is open, brake on, seat belts it is really cool. It also has a inside outside temp gauge and a nice am/fm cd player. A vintage air style airconditioning and heater was installed and checked for leaks. The ac system still needs charged. The lights above the running boards also light up when the doors are opened. The owner spent three years building this car! His wife loved it but was unable to navagate the car with the long front end. The interior of this Buick will take your breath away it is truely a work of art. You start by opening the two doors as the car welcomes you to its luxury! The details inside are incredible, the back seat is original to the car and feels better than my favorite chair. The front seats are modern to include a power driver seat and a reclining passenger seat. The car is very comfortable. The dash has the elegant charm of the forties with modern day options. All of the gauges work and look at the black screen in the center console. This is the information center and will tell you when any of the doors,trunk is open, brake on, seat belts it is really cool. It also has a inside outside temp gauge and a nice am/fm cd player. A vintage air style airconditioning and heater was installed and checked for leaks. The ac system still needs charged. The lights above the running boards also light up when the doors are opened.

The owner spent three years building this car! His wife loved it but was unable to navagate the car with the long front end.
