Vehicle Detail
Up for your consideration is a 1964 Ford Fairlane 500, 2 Door Hardtop. The car is a shimmery copper with a silver-gray interior. This is a North Dakota car which I purchased from a friend. Obviously, this car does not have a motor or transmission. The most work on this car would be replacing 3 floor pans( The two front and one right rear). Otherwise the torque boxes and inner and outer rockers are good. The right front fender has some wrinkles but is solid; I do have another fender which I will include with the car. The hood is missing, but, I have one of those also, which will be included. The right rear quarter has some rust on the fender well. There are no seats. I do have a back seat out of another car, which I think will work in it...I will include it. The windshield is broken, but the rest of the glass is good. This car did have power steering. It has been repainted. Copper is not the original color. The Data Plate numbers are not included because someone put a different door on it. The VIN # on these cars are on the left top inner fender. The trunk is perfect as far as I can see. The left front fender is very good except for a small bit of rust on the very bottom edge. The left quarter is pretty good. The gas tank is there and doesn't look like it has been leaking. The Heater Box was removed, but I have it and will include it. The chrome is very good except for the right front fender. This would make a nice Thunderbolt clone ! The car does roll but, obviously needs to be trailered. There is no Title; it will be sold with a Bill of Sale. It is easy to get a Title in Minnesota for a vintage vehicle. The car is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. I have a very low reserve on this car. A $400 downpayment will be required via Paypal within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The remainder of the final price will be due within 5 days of the end of the auction via cash or Cashier's Check. Thank you for your interest !
