Vehicle Detail

Herman drove the "Munster Mobile" Grandpa had the "Dragula" And Lily had.... nothing....So this is my version of what Lily Munster should of had for a car. A 1956 Buick 2 Dr Hardtop Special. That I found by accident one day. I always have been a fan of the "The Munsters" and thought this would make a great car that Lily Munster would love to drive . The car was completly disasembled and preped for body work. I made one small body modification (shaved the gas fill). I painted the car with PPG black and cleared it with PPG Industrial Matte Clear. I laid out the scallops then flaked and cleared them. I added the web to the hood, painted it white and added HOK Longlow and what a great effect. The Deck Lid was then airbushed to add the graveyard and the Zombie Pin Up's. The roof was flaked and cleared and flaked and cleared and flaked and cleared.....lets just say there is alot of flake and clear on it. Outside in the summer sun, you can't look at it. Flaked and cleared the wheels and the dash, rear package area, the upper door panels and trim around the inside glass. We then had a panel jamb and added the pinstripe by some of the best stripers...8 total....inside and out. Interior was added and is green and black Crused Velvet with sewn in spider webs. I had the top end of the motor rebuilt using all NOS parts. Still has the original 322 Nail Head and Dyna Flow Transmission and was the 24th car to be built in Kansas City in 1956. Changed the exhaust to steel packed duals and ran them striaght out the back. There is way more to list but this should be enough to get the idea. I will answer any questions that anyone has. This is a great car to cruise and gets looks everywhere you go. Please contact me for more photos.
