Up for sale is my 1989 jeep wrangler islander. The reason I am selling it is because I have recently moved with my family to Tennessee and it did not pass the HC part of the emissions test required to get it registered. I am going into the airforce soon and will not need it and do not want to take the time to fix it to have it registered while I am away. The good: Currently running great. drove it from indiana to tennessee roughly 500 miles with no problems 5 speed manual 4wheel drive (4 low does not work, 4 hi works fine) Removable soft top is in great shape Motor has been rebuilt paper work available New 29" goodyear wrangler radial tires with less than 900 miles on them New cherry bomb glasspack muffler Newer black leather bucket seats in the front as seen in pictures (no tears) The bad: The left rear frame where the shackle connects is rusting very bad and needs attention soon. Rust on the body in spots Windshield has two completed cracks going from top to bottom. no stereo doors do not lock a few wires melted and had to be replaced didn't pass the HC portion of the Emmisions test in Rutherford county in TN.
