Up for sale here is our 1989 Porsche 944. The car runs and drives great and we have put a lot of work into it over the last few years. I have too many projects going right now so it's time to let someone else enjoy it. The Good: All work and parts here are less than a couple thousand miles old. The car is garaged and I've spent more time installing parts than driving it! Air conditioning works great! Very cold even on the hottest Texas summer days. The compressor and dryer and both new.Tires are in great condition with over half the tread and all tires have even wear.We recently had the front seats recovered in black.New black dash cap.Replaced steering wheel with one in excellent condition.Brand new shift lever,bushing,washer,and circlip with new leather shifter boot and cap.New rear half shafts/CV joints with all new bolts.Brand new AC and power-steering belts.New Zimmerman cross-drilled front rotors, red calipers, stainless steel brake lines and PBR brake pads on front and rear. The fluid was completely flushed with ATE Super Blue.New Blaupunkt London MP48 w/front and rear auxiliary inputs and Blaupunkt speakers.New windshieldHad the wheels refinished, but there are some marks the tire installer left when they reinstalled the tires. Planning to touch that up prior to sale.New uppoer and lower radiator hoes, and all coolant hard lines under the hood.New fuel jumper hose (common problem on these and pricey).New cap, rotor and plugs.($$$)Zims throttle response cam.Oil changed every three months with Mobil 1 synthetic and Mahle filters (car is rarely driven).Differential fluid just changed with Mobil 1 synthetic.All new dash lights replaced with upgraded brighter units(common problem on 944's).Bursch cat-back exhaust system.I will include brand new Gates timing and Balance shaft belts, thermostat and gasket.Brand new motor mounts just installed (very common problem and a pain to install).Cold air intake kit, I will include the factory air box as well which is in perfect condition.The glove box hinges are replaced with upgraded aluminum units.New sway bar bushings.New heater support mount clip (keeps the heater from running full blast without warning).New outer door handle seals.New power mirror adjusting knob.New drivers side power lock unit.New rear hatch opener switch (power opener works great).New console lid hinge and leather lid.New sunroof latch hardware. Issues: The car has some damage on the right rear that I tried to capture in the pics. The cruise control lever snapped off and I can't find it.The stone guards are ugly look which is common. Not terribly hard to remove but a bit tedious.Other than the damage in the pics I would say the paint is fair for it's age but a respray after having the corner fixed would be in order.There are some power steering fluid and oil drips but seems minor. Not uncommon for its age. The passenger door needs a new door stop. $27 at 944online. Haven't had time to deal with it. Comments: I am not a dealer and do not claim to be an expert but I am doing the best I can to describe the car and it's condition. In addition to the above info I can say the car fires instantly every time and runs perfectly smooth. The car drives tight and quiet and handles wonderfully. Power delivery is fantastic and pulls smooth right up to 100 with no issues. I have recipts for 99% of all the parts and work listed. I have way more invested than the asking price so be kind if making an offer. As I think of anything else I will update the posting.
