1971 Honda CB

This is a 1971 cb750 cafe racer that i built. This is one of many cb750's I have. This bike was completely taken apart and rebuilt. The motor was rebuilt and i am assuming there may be about 10,000 miles on it. I have been driving this bike as one of my daily drivers for the past 4 years and i am guessing i put about 2 to 3 thousand miles a year on this bike. I take it up and down the coast here in L.A., ride all of our freeways and mountain roads with it. This bike is very fast and handles well. This bike starts and idles, and drives great. Well tuned, oil always changed once a month, along with valves and plugs checked religiously. This '71 has never left me stranded, or failed to start, no leaks. Engine and frame are matching; 1975 gas tank very clean inside and out with no dents and great paint; 1976 disc rear brake conversion; handmade polished aluminum seat pan; 1920's glass tail light; custom oil tank; simple and great working rear sets; dry cell battery hidden under seat pan; all new reduced wiring; triumph head light; good brakes; completely rebuilt and re-jetted carburetors with adjusted needle position to comply with air pods; and mini Yosimura polished exhaust can; Dyna electronic ignition; hidden key and start button; 1981 cb900f rear shocks; Michelin tires with about 1 thousand miles on them; and many other details i may have failed to mention... i built this bike with the intent to minimalize the design, improvement through subtraction, avoiding putting distracting or flashy items on it, no plastic. It is sleek and fast. Title is in my name. Registration is current until next Dec. I build cafe racers here in Los Angeles, and am one of the better cafe racer builders in L.A.
