Up for sale is a 1999 Volkswagen Jetta (new body style). The car has been sitting for a few years without being started. In saying so, it does run a little rough but we had a mechanic take a look at it and he had said that could be fixed with a good tune up. I believe the muffler underneath is also making a rattling noise. The battery needs a good charge and/or be replaced. We installed a $300 radio/CD player which is included! All windows are power windows and work perfectly. The sunroof also works great. The seats are not power. It has cruise control! Black leather seats. Car manual is in the glove compartment. There are visible scratches but nothing too major. (see photos) There is a dent on the front passenger side and the small light cover is cracked (see photo) A few things on the inside need fixing. The armrest in between the 2 front seats is missing a spring and the "cover" of the armrest, or the part that you lift up,completely lifts off the rest of the armrest. The glove compartment on one side has fallen out of the slot. The compartment opens and closes perfectly but hangs on one side if you have it open all the way. The cup holder slides out for your cups but it slides all the way out and comes off the slot. And on the driver side door there is a round knob that you use to adjust the side mirrors but the knob is missing. It's a few plastic things but nothing too major. (see photos) The driver side mirror is cracked on the side from when someone clipped my mirror and took off. The mirror came off but we screwed it back into place. Both side mirrors do not close in to the vehicle. The mirrors can still be controlled electronically from the driver side door but since the knob is missing you can't really adjust it. The A/C doesn't seem to be working. Easily fixed with a recharge with refrigerant. The check engine light is on as well as another light (see photo). It looks like an airbag? In the photos the gas light is on but once the tank is filled that goes away! You will receive 3 total keys - 1 valet key, 1 full key (it has tape around it because both sides can come apart) and one half key (meaning it only has the key to put into the ignition. No keyless entry on that key) The full key does have keyless entry but the battery needs replacing. (see photo) Back passenger tire is missing a hubcap. According to the Kelley Blue Book value of this car, the private party value is $2,450. We are not the original owners of this vehicle. We had purchased it from another private party. Since it has not run for a few years and needs a tune up, if you are interested in purchasing it, please come with a tow.
